Museums are spaces open to everyone, dynamic and inclusive, which aim to train and inform. They carry out important work aimed at the communities in which they are part of, seeking to raise awareness about the importance of knowledge of heritage, which belongs to everyone and must be preserved for future generations.
The Mértola Cláudio Torres Museum has always developed work with different audiences, with a strong focus on children and young people, and within the scope of partnerships with local institutions.
We carried out an action with the Children’s Workshop of Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Mértola, which resulted in an Exhibition of the work developed by the children and which we invited you to visit.
