MÉRTOLA MUSEUM
The Forja do Ferreiro (Blacksmith’s Forge) is the result of the musicalization of an old traditional workshop, set up in a house with a single room, which has been preserved as its last master – ‘Ti Brito’ – left it.
Here you can see a small part of a collection related to this activity, most notably the bellows and the anvil, and realize the importance of this craft in the late 19th century-1st half of the 20th century
