They play an important role in the communities in which they operate, seeking to raise awareness of the importance of discovering our heritage. The heritage which belongs to everyone and which must be preserved for future generations.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">The Cl\u00e1udio Torres M\u00e9rtola Museum has always worked with different audiences, focusing especially on children and young people through partnerships with local institutions. This year we organised an event in collaboration with the Children&#8217;s Workshop of the Santa Casa da Miseric\u00f3rdia de M\u00e9rtola. The result is an exhibition showcasing the children&#8217;s work, and we invite you to visit it!<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">The exhibition &#8216;The Museum goes to the Children&#8217;s Workshop&#8217; is on display at the Museum Unit of the Palaeo-Christian Basilica in Rossio do Carmo, M\u00e9rtola. It&#8217;s open for visits from 7<span class=\"s1\"><sup>th<\/sup><\/span> August to 20<span class=\"s1\"><sup>th<\/sup><\/span> September 2024, from Tuesday to Sunday, from 9.10am to 12.30pm and from 2pm to 5.30pm.
