Arabisation, Islamisation and Resistance through Cemetery Spaces in South-Eastern al-Andalus<\/i><\/span>&#8216; (PID2020-112188GB-100) with the collaboration of the M\u00e9rtola Archaeological Site, the University of Granada, funded by the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities and the M\u00e9rtola City Council.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">The objectives are to analyse the latest discoveries about <span class=\"s1\"><i>Al-Andalus<\/i><\/span> <span class=\"s1\"><i>maqbaras<\/i><\/span>, to debate the contributions of sciences such as statistics, anthropology or biomedicine to the study of medieval societies and, finally, to establish a proposal on the relationship between living beings and cemeteries. Prosopography, the gender perspective and object analysis will also be present.
