This<br \/>\nmeeting was attended by more than 70 museums and its starting point was a reflection on the<br \/>\nfuture prospects and ambitions of the PMN, with regard to the affirmation and cross-cutting<br \/>\npromotion of the quality standards of Portuguese Museums, through networking,<br \/>\ncommunication and participation in the consolidation of the national museological network.<br \/>\nIt comprised speeches by Isabel Cordeiro, Secretary of State for Culture, Clara Camacho, from<br \/>\nthe Directorate-General for Cultural Heritage, Jos\u00e9 Gameiro, Scientific Director of the Museum<br \/>\nof Portim\u00e3o and Manuel Pizarro, Executive Director of the future Jewish Museum of Lisbon.<br \/>\nThe most commonly used words and expressions were renewal, cohesion, networking,<br \/>\nmonitoring, participation and democratisation.
